We've returned to one of our favorite parks. Sites are spacious and level, and well shielded from your neighbouring sites. Downtown Huntsville is only 3 km away for our emergency trip to the local bakery. Biking and walking trails are plentiful and well graded. Our main excursion outside the park was to find the home of Peter Camani. This Canadian artist and sculptor has created a unique property fully of large sculptures called Screaming Heads. On a yearly basis this property located near Burks Falls has hosted a music festival called Harvest Festival.

OTT Outing (Kingston Ont.)
It's been awhile since my last post. Not that we were sick or out of co-mission, rather that I have been to lazy to figure out my lost password. So here's what's happening. We are still members of a Winnebago Travellers Club (WIT). The Ontario chapter is referred to as OTT (Ontario Trillium Travellers). We have 5 outings during the course of the summer months, with this outing # 3 being in Kingston Ontario. Currently our club is approx. 20 rigs strong, and new members will be warmly welcomed.

Arrowhead Provincial Park (2013)
We're back home safe and sound. A good time has been had by all. Bears and moose were loose in the park, but my camera never got a shot. As you can see, Lucille was a true trooper, but really never got to far. Its like spinning your wheels and going nowhere.

Garba Temporarily Laid Up
Garba has had a full knee replacement on May 21/2013. Surgery went well, and we're now into week 7 of post-op physio. It isn't easy, but its a learning experience for both of us. During the 6 week checkup with the surgeon I was able to take this picture of the implant inside Lucille's knee.
We're going to try and push the envelope a bit and attempt to go camping with family for a few days. I'll post the results once we're back.

Wednesday Nov.02, 2011
Well how fast time flys. I thought I'd post a picture after our first supper in Myrtle Beach. Now its Wednesday and were getting ready for meal # 5. Not much can be added to the pictures other then to say that the food was AWESOME. I'd spend more time in giving you a blow by blow of the evenings, but I'm getting the call to appear at the Boccie Ball Tournament.

Sunday Oct. 30, 2011
For those who thought I'd fallen off the face of the earth, I have a surprise. I'm back .Yes it's been awhile. That 2 days a week job, quickly turned into 5 days a week. But as of Oct. 20/2011 I'm again officially retired. And it didn't take long to get the car packed. By Oct.21/2011 I'd had a tooth removed, and were on our way to Orlando Florida. In Florida we met up with with Greg. and Debbie and their 3 girls.
A relaxing time was had by all, and we ended our time with them with a visit to Disney Land to take part in Disney's Halloween 2011 festivities.
With the party over, the kids have gone on a Disney Cruise, and Lou and I are in Mrytle Beach. Here we find ourselves on the beach, surrounded by close friends from back home. Unfortunatey we missed the barbecue at the Luciani's who were having the Nunas's as their guest. Now that I have again been set free, I'm hoping to again reconnect with our Alaskan Friends. So here we go. It's our second night in Mrytle Beach and the plans for tonight's dinner party have already been made. If all goes well I'll post a picture tomorrow of our supper spread.

Day 11 Myrtle Beach SC.
What a place? How relaxing the sea can become? These are the questions that are asked over and over. Shopping has stopped, and replaced with walks on the beach, and sitting on the balcony watching the dolphins jump by.The weather has changed a bit, its 9:30 am and the thermometer reads 68 and rising. Won't be to long before Garba has the ac on. The kids back home will be glad to hear that Papa stopped at a condo sales office yesterday during his beach stroll Condo's varied from 2 bedrooms (1352 sq ft) at $472K to 5 bedrooms (3047 sq ft) at $1,255K. Told the sales lady with a straight face that I'd bring Garba around tomorrow for a walk through. I'd post pictures if I had a power cord, but that's not in the cards for this trip. Once back at our current rented condo I could only contemplate on how richly blessed we really are. Here we are away from home for more then 105 days this year, in good health and surrounded by great friends.Family and friends are really never far away, we hear from both daily. Ans so on goes the dinne parties.
Dinner Party 08 This was actually a Breeders Cup Classic Race Party with Zenyatta as the main guest. After the race we all settled back with ordouves
I have lost my computer hard drive, so this post is being edited on my itouch, and will be the last till I get home
